Things to Do

Busselton is one of Western Australia’s favourite tourism towns and the gateway to Margaret River’s premium wine region.

Take a walk or catch the train along the remarkable 1.7km Busselton Jetty, and explore the Underwater Observatory where you can see amazing marine life 8 meters beneath the waters surface. Upon your return, explore the waterfront precinct with its seaside cafes, kiosks, bars and restaurants, bike paths, large shady grassed areas and a calm, tranquil, white sandy beach. The bustling main street has a cosmopolitan atmosphere with superb alfresco restaurants, cafe’s, pubs and boutique shops.

The beautiful beaches are perfect for swimming, fishing, paddling, and snorkelling. Venture further out and experience whale watching by going on a charter boat from the marina. Enjoy a scenic drive or walk through the only pure tuart forest in the world. Take a picnic by day orgo on the spectacular nocturnal possum walk at night. If you enjoy bike riding, cycle the awesome beachside bike paths, all the way to Dunsborough.
